Privacy and cookies
In short: we use your details to run your booking and to look after you as a customer. We send offers only if you ticked the box. The website measures visits and adverts only if you said yes to cookies.

2. What we collect, and why

We do not sell your details. We do not make decisions about you by computer alone.
3. Who else handles your details
We use these companies to run the business. Each may only use your details to provide its service to us.
- Square: card payments and the till.
- Google: hosting of our booking system, email and calendar; and, with your consent, Google Analytics and Google Ads.
- Supabase: the database that holds bookings.
- Netlify: hosting of this website and its contact form.
- Meta (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp) and TikTok: advert measurement, and WhatsApp when you message us.
- GetYourGuide, Viator and TUI Musement: only if you booked through them.
Some of these companies are based outside the European Economic Area, mainly in the United States. Where that is so, your details are protected by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or by the European Commission's standard contract terms.
4. How long we keep it
- Booking and payment records: as long as Spanish law requires for accounts and tax, normally six years.
- Offers by email: until you unsubscribe.
- Enquiries: up to two years.
- Your cookie choice: 180 days, then we ask again.
5. Your rights
You can ask us to show you the details we hold about you, correct them, delete them, stop using them, or give them to you in a form you can take elsewhere. You can withdraw a consent at any time. Write to theteam@thegolfcove.es and we will answer within one month.
If you are not happy with our answer you can complain to the Spanish data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, at www.aepd.es.
6. Cookies
A cookie is a small file a website saves in your browser. This site also uses your browser's own storage in the same way. Nothing in the second and third rows below is switched on unless you say yes.

7. Changes
If we change how we use your details we will update this page and change the date at the top.
